I have been charged shipping for my digital order

You are probably one of the 48-hour backers (or joined the ATLAS mailing list before the campaign began) and will be receiving your free Moon Boy enamel pin. Although this item is a free gift, it will trigger a shipping fee.

Do the two books contain different maps?

Yes. The ‘Dusk’ 25x25inch map book will have a completely different map selection to that offered in the ‘Twilight’ 18x22inch map book; this is because each map is designed to a specific size.

Are the encounter cards specifically for DnD 5e?

Yes…sort of. Whilst the text used on the cards is universal and would work for any fantasy setting, the enemy/combat is specifically balanced for 5e (DnD); however it could also work as a guide for Pathfinder and other systems.

Are the listed price tiers in GBP/ Sterling?

Yes. The price tiers will be listed in GBP/ Sterling however any items added to your basket will be calculated in the currency specific to your region.

Will the books be available digitally?

Yes - there is a digital tier with digital maps, digital encounters and all future digital rewards.

How do add-ons work?

Add-ons are optional rewards you can choose to add to your pledge. They can be added either when you choose a tier or when you manage or change your pledge.

How much will be charged for shipping?

Short answer: we have ballpark estimates, but we don’t know exactly. It’s going be in line with most other recent Kickstarters, and we’re getting quotes right now from our fulfilment partners. Long answer: shipping is kind of all over the place at the moment. In the US, USPS are putting their rates up. Since COVID, freight shipping from china can be anywhere from 4 to 10 times what it was 2 years ago. All this could change before we fulfil, and that’s why we’re waiting until we get to the Backerkit stage to charge fulfilment. In addition, it also depends how many stretch goals we unlock! Stuff is heavy, and the bigger our book gets, the heavier it gets, and the more shipping costs. We’ll have estimates at launch, and they’ll be the best estimates we can calculate!

Will this be offered in different languages?

No, this Kickstarter is currently only offered in English.

What is the shipping target date?

We’ve been very conservative with the shipping estimate of October 2022, to account for any possible delays caused by Brexit or the global Covid pandemic. We will keep you regularly updated and would like to see everything shipped long before October 2022!

What is your refund policy?

We’re happy to offer refunds before orders are locked on Backerkit. However, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of Kickstarter, payment processing, and Backerkit fees, which are paid as soon as the Kickstarter finishes!

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
