Manufacturing & encounters update

Greetings world builders!

Manufacturing  

Final order numbers have now been locked in with the manufacturers (late pledges/pre-orders - don't worry, I've built in an overflow to allow for ongoing orders, and extra stock will be ordered to keep in my shop for the future anyway, so you, your friends, and your Nan can order away)! This takes us a step closer to product manufacturing! 

We've currently sold 4,538 ATLAS map books...that's...crazy

I will soon be sent 'white goods' (plain white prints) as well as some map samples, to test the quality and build of all of the items. Mainly to make sure the map quality is as good as it can be and all the products FEEL right! I will also put everything through rigorous testing with my 'destruction team' (1 & 4 year olds) to see how they hold up to general wear-and-tear, and the wrath of a toddler.

Short of getting the final copies this 'white goods' delivery is going to be unreal, I can't wait to hold everything! Oh and I'll be sharing a few photos of this stage so you can all see too!

Encounters

Production writing is underway for the 80 encounter cards (Combat and Mystery). I have a library of around 40 encounters on my Patreon, some of which were originally planned for conversion, but I've decided to wipe the slate clean and really let the writers dig deep into the project and take the opportunity to really make something special here. I'll be sharing some of these encounter cards as we progress.

I'll be in touch with another update when we hit another key step in this journey. Exciting times ahead!

Greetings world builders!

Just a quick message to say that shipping (and any extra items on your account yet to be paid for) are being charged now via Backerkit - you should have received an email from Backerkit where you can see the details of this, and/or notification from your bank.

This brings us ever closer to final item counts, when I can figure out exactly what we need to manufacture of each item/object/trinket you wonderful people have ordered!

Final Orders - mini update

Greetings world builders!

The majority of orders/surveys are in, with just over 200 left to be completed - that's less than 10%, huzzah!

You should be receiving your 'Locked Order' email shortly, this is a notification to let you know that we are going to lock orders soon (48 hours) and if you want to make adjustments (like picking up that sweet pre-built VTT pack so you can take your adventures online with no hassle) now is the time to do that.

**If you cannot find your Backerkit survey let me know (here or private message) and I can send you a new one**

If a friend of yours is interested in ATLAS but hasn't ordered yet, we are swiftly approaching the last chance! Let them know!

What happens next?

Once the orders are locked in we will have the data we need to finalise the details for manufacturing, and we can really get stuck into production at full pace!

This is a very exciting time, I can't wait to get all of the pieces moving! Another step closer to having ATLAS in your hands!

Surveys are coming in HOT! Have you completed yours? - mini update

Merry-post-holidays to you all!

I wanted to drop in and say a quick "Merry Holiday" to you all, whichever holiday you're celebrating I hope it was/is wonderful and filled with lots of good times (and games of course)!

Surveys - 

87% of surveys have been completed already, that's really awesome! That leaves only 13% to be completed! If you haven't completed your survey yet you should find it waiting in your inbox to complete when you're able to :) if you haven't received your survey yet let me know and I can make sure you get one.

If you're wondering what all this is - these surveys (via Backerkit) are to add your shipping information, lock your orders, and to pay for shipping. Once every survey has been completed we can lock orders and get final product numbers to the manufacturers to begin the super exciting process of production!!

The sooner the surveys are completed, the sooner we can move forward :)

I hope you've all had a good 2021, or more likely (like so many of us) made the best of whatever situation you were/are in. Let's hope 2022 holds many more good times for us all, and we can spend many many hours gathered around tables together!

Greetings world builders!

The smoke test has gone well, so the time has come to send out the remaining surveys!

Check your inboxes - You will have, or will shortly have, the Backerkit survey in your email inbox (check your junk, just in case). Your orders from Kickstarter have been automatically imported into these Backerkit surveys - pledge level and add-ons etc - but you can switch pledge levels and add extra add-ons at this stage if you want to, as well as completing your up to date shipping info.

Make sure you complete your surveys as soon as is convenient so we can lock orders in!

What happens next? - Once all surveys have been completed I will lock the orders. With the final numbers of orders at hand I can update the manufacturers and begin moving towards the production phase! Excite!

We're creeping ever closer to getting our hands on these wonderful goodies! I for one cannot wait!
